info

Please read the information below and review the calamity schedule for participants before you start the race!

Attention

Write the errata to the route in your route booklets to make sure you don't follow the wrong route!

Medical Support

In the race there are 6 medical cars driving along. They can be called at any time during the race through the staff. In addition, first aid is present at the start, restarts and finish. A runner who has called for a doctor or first aider is required to wait until the doctor or first aider has arrived. At the festival site, medical care is in the hands of the EHBO Enschede.

Vest intake

The drop-off point for the vests is in the Atrium in the Bastille on campus from 17.45 until 20.00 hours. If you do not hand in your gear at the vest intake, the gear can then still be handed in at the information desk, but €25,- will be deducted from the deposit. In addition, € 5,- will be deducted if the lighting of your bike is not in order although you received lamps for this at the start. It is also possible to donate (part of) the deposit. This money goes to the Bata4life action to raise money for more scientific research into the Batten disease. We do this in cooperation with our partner foundation Beat Batten. You can indicate at the vest intake whether you want to donate (part of) the deposit.

To get the deposit of € 100 back, the following must be returned in original state and handed in together:

  • The runners' vest with 2 transponders

  • The cyclist's vest

  • Four starters' badges of the last stage with two transponders

Lost and found

During the race, all found items will go to the info desk at the Radboud Sports Center in Nijmegen and to the info desks at the restarts in Ulft, Barchem and Enschede. After the race, all items will be taken to the info desk at the sports center on the University of Twente campus in Enschede.

So should you find stuff or lose stuff, bring it to the info desk.

Stuff can be picked up until four weeks after the race. Please contact the Organizing Committee in Enschede; 053-489 3787 or enschede@batavierenrace.nl
